Baseline Criteria for Eligibility
- No familial or business links to any province other than New Brunswick.
- The maximum age restriction is 55 years old.
- A CAD$100,000 government security deposit.
- CLB 5 is required in the IELTS exam.
- Educational Credential Assessment and a minimum of two years of post-secondary education (ECA).
- Net value of total assets between husband and wife of at least CAD$600,000 (minimum of $300,000 in liquid assets/cash required).
- A minimum investment of CAD$250,000 is required.
- Owning at least 33% of a new or existing firm in Canada.
- A third-party audit business will verify all assets in the home country.

- Applicants with certain occupations are preferred (i.e., Unless you have other investing expertise, banking experience would be a disadvantage).
