Federal Investor Program (Pending)

In order to boost employment and promote economic growth in its member provinces and territories, the Federal Investment Immigration Program seeks to persuade people with business expertise to participate in Canada's economy.

Eligible immigrant investors and their families can receive permanent residence status in Canada by making a five-year, guaranteed investment of $800,000 CAD, providing they satisfy the conditions listed below.

Federal Investor Immigrant Program Requirements:

• own minimum personal net worth of $1.6 million Canadian;
• Make a five-year, guaranteed investment of your own money totaling $800,000 CAD;
• intend to live in any province or territory of Canada, excluding Quebec;
• Own a qualifying firm or oversee a company with no less than 5 employees.

At the conclusion of the five-year period, you will receive your money back with no interest charged. You may elect to pay a $200,000 one-time, non-refundable financing cost in lieu of making an investment of $800,000. This money will be sent to a licensed financial intermediary, who will then invest $800,000 in the capital in your name.
