Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Since 2008, the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) has offered a significant pathway for candidates working in Canada and wanting to transition to permanent residence. One of three skilled worker immigration categories that are overseen by the Federal Express Entry system is the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The CEC is made explicitly for applicants for permanent residency who have work experience in Canada that was acquired under a temporary work visa. 1.Work Experience

You must have one year of skilled job experience in Canada. The required employment experience is:

The equivalent time in a part-time position;
Legally obtained in Canada;
From jobs defined by the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) as level 0, A, or B.

2.Education

This program has no educational prerequisites. However, there are ways to raise your Express Entry ranking.

Receiving a certificate, diploma, or degree from a secondary or tertiary school in Canada;
Completing a foreign credential;
Obtaining an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) that demonstrates your previous education meets Canadian benchmarks.

3.Language Proficiency

You are obliged to:

Weigh up your writing, reading, listening, and speaking proficiency in an exam that has been authorized;
Meet the minimum language requirement of Canadian Language Benchmark 7 for NOC 0 or A jobs or Canadian Language Benchmark 5 for NOC B jobs.

4.Permissibility

To enter Canada, you must legally be allowed.

Another fantastic aspect of this program is that, if you meet the requirements, you can move to any Canadian province or territory other than Quebec. However, keep in mind that Quebec, a French-speaking province, has its own immigration policies with different procedures and criteria.
